Each June the villages comes together in the gardens of Hill Farm for our village fete. Over the last few years we have managed to avoid the worst of the weather. The brolleys seem to come out most years, either fending off the persistant drizzle or in helping to keep out the worst of the sun. Whilst setting up the fete on a Friday afternoon in about 2006 or 2007 a twister was seen heading towards Peterborough! Enjoyable days. Lots of strawberries and cream, home made scones and cakes, stalls and games, a children's fancy dress competition, Terry's auction...and not forgetting Brian's Splat The Rat of course!
Some of the photographs on this page are from David Neate. I am normally tied up in my bookstall, so chances to record the day for me are limited.
